Plastic Hexagon Washer Faced Nuts

Plastic Hexagon Washer Faced Nuts, sometimes called Flanged Hex Nuts, combine a Hex Full Nut with an integrated non-spinning washer or flange. Exerted pressure is distributed over a larger surface area, resulting in lower surface pressure and increased resistance to shocks and vibrations.
They feature a single chamfer on the face of the nut, reducing the chance of injury during installation or removal – typically achieved using a standard wrench or spanner. Plastic Hex Flange Nuts to DIN 6923 are also available.
Plastic Hexagon Washer Faced Nuts are often used with irregular shaped holes and uneven surfaces as the large diameter of the washer can help to cover up imperfections in the fastening material.
Thread sizes ranging from M4 to M24 as standard, with BA sizes from 6BA to 0BA also available. Please note that minimum order quantities apply.
Supplied in a White (natural) colour as standard, with other dyed colours available on request to meet your requirements.
Manufactured from Nylon 66 (PA 66) as standard – a viable alternative to metal components that provides good tensile strength and a lower water absorption rate.
