Plastic Hexagon Half Nuts

Plastic Hexagon Half Nuts are often referred to as Hex Flat Nuts, Thin Nuts, Jam Nuts or Locknuts. As the name suggests, they are roughly half the height of a standard Hexagon Full Nut, found in a wide range of applications and assemblies.
Typically used in pairs, positioned either side of a standard nut to prevent self-loosening and keep it locked in place. Also ideal for applications with limited space where a standard size nut would not fit. Plastic Hexagon Full Nuts can be found here.
Manufactured from Nylon 66 (PA 66) as standard, helping to create a strong, lightweight fastener that is resistant to corrosion and rust. Black Nylon 30% Glass Filled Flat Nuts are also available, with other types of Plastic available on request.
Supplied in a Black finish as standard, these Nylon Hex Thin Nuts can by dyed to colour match the intended application or assembly.
