Plastic Hexagon Domed Cap Nuts (DIN 1587)

Plastic Hexagon Domed Cap Nuts, created to DIN 1587 standard, are Hex Nuts that protect the threaded portion of a fastener from damage, while reducing the risk of injury caused by a sharp or uneven bolt thread.
Often referred to as Acorn Nuts, Crown Hex Nuts, One-Eyed Nuts, Hex Cap Nuts or Dome Nuts, they feature a raised dome on top, similar to the shape of an acorn. We offer a range of Plastic and Nylon Nuts here at Fastenright.
Found in residential construction or automotive applications, they can be used to provide an aesthetically pleasing finish and in some cases, increase the performance of an application or assembly.
