The Kinmar tamper resistant permanent security nuts are a superior alternative to shear nuts, providing high torque and leaving no unplated surfaces.
Hosting a unique, patented head design, Kinmar permanent security nuts have unique indentations in the rounded shape of the nut that provide security and high torque and make the fixing cost-effective and efficient in applications that require high-level security when maintenance is not required.
Often found in security fencing, street furniture, public transport and playgrounds, these nuts require a matching driver to fasten the nut and tighten accordingly. The Kinmar permanent tool is designed to fit both hand and power tools for fast, efficient installation. Should the nut become loosened due to vibration, it can be retightened.
The tools are restricted in supply, making sure that the fixing is not able within the public domain and we will not provide tooling to a customer who has not purchased the nut from us.

Available from Fastenright in A2 Stainless Steel, Zinc plated case hardened Steel or Geomet with the case hardened steel further enhancing the security of the nut. It helps prevent hacksawing or chiselling the nut off, whilst also providing more torque.
