High Corrosion Resistant Partial Thread Hex Bolts are available in Duplex Stainless Steel, 1.4529 HCR Grade A8 Steel and A5 Steel.
Duplex is a stainless and acid-resistant steel alloy that is characterised by an austenitic-ferritic two-phase structure, which combines the positive properties of both. It hosts an improved corrosion resistance, meaning these Partial Thread Hex Bolts are able to be used in applications where stress corrosion cracking, pitting and general corrosion are all prevalent.
A5 Steel Partial Thread Hex Bolts are designed to withstand high-pressure levels, and are resistant to corrosion thanks to this alloy containing titanium. The material can often be found around chlorides and other harsh environments.
With an increased molybdenum content, 1.4529 HCR Grade A8 Steel has improved corrosion resistance and can be found across a range of different applications.
Available in a range of sizes as standard from Fastenright.
These Hex Bolts are also available as specials in Super Duplex Stainless Steel which is a popular material due to an impressive combination of attributes.
