High Corrosion Resistant Hexagon Connector nuts are for joining two male threads most commonly fully threaded Allthread rods. The outside of the nut is usually hexagonal-shaped to enable a hex wrench to rotate it.
Their use with threaded rods means that more often than not, the connector nuts are found in the same, or similar applications as the nuts are used to make up longer assemblies from shorter lengths of the rod.
A5 Steel Hexagon Connector Nuts are able to be used within heavy applications, where the allthread permits, and can be found within support systems often working in connecting two materials or stabilising structures.
1.4529 HCR (Grade A8) Steel Connector Nuts hold increased resistance to stress corrosion cracking and are often used in construction. They can often be found in pipeline systems.
Duplex Stainless Steel Connector Nuts are exceptionally strong and host improved corrosion resistance and are often found across applications where stress corrosion cracking, crevice corrosion, pitting, erosion are all prevalent.
Available as specials in a range of sizes not listed below, and in Super Duplex Stainless Steel which is a popular choice for more challenging applications.
