Brass Hexagon Head Bolts (DIN 931)

by Fastenright

Brass Hexagon Head Bolts to DIN 931 standard or ISO 4014 are utilised across a wide range of manufacturing and construction applications, usually to join two components together.
Often referred to as partially threaded Brass Hex Bolts, they provide an unthreaded portion below the head sometimes referred to as a reduced shank unlike Brass Hexagon Set Screws to DIN 933 that are fully threaded.
Suitable for use alongside matching nuts and washers, while requiring a tapped hole for installation. Brass Hexagon Head Bolts to DIN 931 feature a coarse thread that reduces the chance of cross-threading or galling.
The hexagonal shaped head enables quick assembly using a standard wrench, spanner or hexagon socket while the flat edges allow higher torque to be achieved.
Brass is non-magnetic alloy with lower levels of electrical conductivity, while being great for use outdoors or in marine environments due to its corrosion resistance properties. Other materials and finishes available on request, including exotic materials such as Titanium and Aluminium.
Available in a huge range of thread diameters from M2 to M36 as standard, with lengths ranging from 3mm up to 250mm. Optional thread locking patches can also be supplied.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
