Brass Hexagon Half Nuts Fine Pitch (DIN 439)

Brass Hexagon Half Nuts with Fine Pitch Threads are the reduced height variant of the popular Hexagon Full Nuts, manufactured to DIN 439 standard or ISO 4035.
Commonly referred to as Hex Thin Nuts, Flat Nuts or Jam Nuts, their height is approximately half that of a regular full nut ideal for situations with restricted space or clearance. Sometimes positioned either side of a nut to create a locking formation that increases durability and resistance to vibrations.
The fine pitch thread consists of a smaller helix angle to provide higher strength and allow for greater adjustment accuracy compared to Coarse Thread Brass Hexagon Half Nuts they are often utilised in aerospace applications as a result.
