All Metal Self Locking Nut Thin

This thin type all metal self locking nut is a one piece locknut.
The locking feature of the thin type all metal self locking nut is obtained by the de-pitched, self-locking slot found on the turret portion of this nut. When they are installed into their application, the slotted turret section reverts to its original form and the slot grips the shank or thread of the bolt.
The self locking feature of this locknut has a number of advantages; ensuring that the bolt is not damaged, a high resistance to vibration, and the fact that the product is re-usable.
It also hosts a high resistance to temperature and can be used in volatile environments with temperatures ranging from -200 C to 400 c, depending on materials and finishes.
These locking nuts are only available in metric threads.
Manufactured as standard in A2 and A4 Stainless Steel and in Steel grades 5, 8 and 10. They can also be made to order in Brass, Bronze and Titanium on request.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
