Sapele - Timber

Sapele comes from West Africa. Average tree height of 150 feet.
A medium to fairly dark reddish-brown wood. Sapwood is whitish to pale yellow. Interlocking and sometimes wavy grain with a fairly fine texture.
Widely used for furniture, plywood, joinery and shop fittings.
