American White Oak

Grown in eastern half of the United States and south eastern Canada. Trees reach height of 100ft.
Rather variable from pale yellow brown to mid brown. Sapwood almost white in colour. Generally straight grain.
Suitable for furniture, cabinet making and joinery. A good Timber for constructional work owing to its strength and durability. A good flooring timber.
