Access Control - AR-727HB-RAY Network or Stand-alone Controller + Reader

The AR-727HB-RAY is an extremely versatile controller/reader operating either as a standalone controller or as a network controller as one of up to 254 controllers operating via an RS485 connection to a host PC. The RS485 port of the AR-727HB-RAY can be connected to two remote RS485 Readers to provide entry control for two doors with exit buttons for egress or for one door with two readers for anti-passback. The RS485 connection enables long cable runs (up to 1000 metres) to be used between reader and controller. The controller has a built-in proximity reader and LCD display for programming. It is also available in a lockable metal case complete with a 3 amp power supply (EAR-737HB-RAY). The readers that can be used with this controller are the AR-737H and the DDA compliant AR-737HB-RAY. There are two lock relays in the controller.

Note: This controller cannot be used as a sub-controller connected to the AR-716E.
