VR4K Series GSM Modules

The vandal resistant GSM is manufactured from brushed stainless steel (2.5mm thick) and is available in the VR4K series modular range with 0, 1, 2 or 3 buttons including a nameplate version VR4KGSM-1NP. The modules are expandable up to 24 button with the addition of VR4K series button expansion modules

The call buttons have the facility to divert to additional numbers if the first is busy or unanswered (1 primary and 3 divert numbers). Programming is carried out via SMS messaging (also via micro USB connection on the VR4KGSM module using the GSMSK PC software). The VR4KGSM module includes an exit button input, auxiliary input and output, dry contact relay and can be powered using 12Vdc.

In addition the VR4KGSM module includes an off-board proximity access control input to allow for a Wiegand proximity reader to be connected, VR4KPPM, should proximity access be required for an installation for up to 1000 users.

Call progress can be followed on the 3 call progress LED s (speak, busy and door open). In addition the facility to connect the display interface module, VR4KDM, is included to work along side the call progress LED s by offering both voice annunciation and call progress indication on the 2 line 16 character LCD display.

An event log is maintained within the VR4KGSM module and can be integrated via the USB port and the GSMSK PC software which includes many features to simplify the installation and programming process.
