RHS Galvanised Steel Roof Hatch

The fibreboard is CFC and HCFC free, ODP zero and has a GWP rating of less than five. The roof hatch has a weather protected exterior push button handle and a smooth action interior handle. All roof hatch detail sizes below are 'internal clear opening' dimensions.

Roof Hatch Construction

The roof door has doubled looped steel tabs that can be securely padlocked from the exterior or interior for added security options. The 343mm roof hatch access upstand has a 102mm base for an easy installation and an integral flashing for weatherproofing. All edges are rounded for safety. The hinges are steel butt with brass pins.

Roof Hatch Operation and finish

The Roof Hatch door is counter balanced with two fully enclosed, counter balanced compression springs, complete with a plastic coated robust hold open arm. The roof hatch has a primed finish, but can be powder coated as an extra over cost.
