ERHA Economy Roof Hatch

A range of budget roof hatches with a U value of 1.1, ideal for buildings with a low thermal requirement.
For use as a means of access on to a roof, the hinged access hatch frame opens to 90 degrees providing easy passage for personnel and equipment. The roof hatch has a built-in kerb for mounting directly onto the roof or timber upstand.
The kerb is designed to provide a thermally broken interface which in turn helps to improve the overall thermal efficiency of the roof. The uPVC structure enhances the overall appearance of the roof access hatch and is prefinished white internally, therefore requiring no further decoration.
The roof hatch will not rust or be affected by atmospheric pollution. Once installed, it is maintenance free.
Please note the opening at the top of the roof hatch is 200mm smaller than the structural opening.
The hatch comes with a locking handle as standard to ensure security when closed and telescopic struts to it in the open position. The telescopic struts are a gas assisted hydraulic operation and are configured according to door weight and prevailing site conditions.
With a fully enclosed, 150mm high tamper-proof frame for a totally secure fixing, the ESRH is simple to install with no visible fixings, for a neat professional finished look. The design of the frame allows for a completely weatherproof, self-draining construction.
