The sleek contemporary aesthetics inside and out are central to the design vision. Our glazed roof hatches use gas springs to facilitate a 90 opening. The roof hatch lid has a rigid uPVC and aluminium outer frame. It utilises a unique cassette and FSX UV stable long life polycarbonate to achieve lower condensation and a centre pane 'U' value of 1.8. The impact resistance of the polycarbonate is 200 times greater than glass. The roof hatch light transmission is 78% on clear and 32% on opal.
The tapered 150mm high uPVC kerb foot allows for an easy installation and negates the need for timber fillets. The membrane/felt/roof covering can be clamped in placed at the top of the kerb flashing.
Available in clear or opal (obscure) and a multitude of sizes as listed on the size tab.
The above quoted sizes are to suit your structural opening dimensions (shown as dimension C on 4th image in our image gallery).
The actual opening at the top of the roof hatch will be reduced by 200mm on either dimension. We do have vertical kerbs available at a higher cost if a larger clear opening is required.
