It is Class 1 Fire Rated when fixed onto a non-combustible substrate.

Application

The Aquabord PVC material is a hollow core product that can be easily cut to size, trims are available for internal and externals corners, edges and where required a watertight base seal. It's rigid properties allow the Aquabord PVC T&G panels to be fixed to most clean and dry internal surfaces, however, they should not be installed near hot areas or where excess heat or exposed flame could damage or distort the panels. Stainless Steel should be used where temps exceed 60° C.

Brickwork – in good condition and even joints
Block work – in good condition and even joints
Plaster – well bonded, Smooth and flush
Plaster board – sealed with PVA primer
Concrete – good condition, smooth and flush
Plywood
Ceramic tiles (not loose and cleaned with de-greaser)

IPSL recommend our HB40 MS (modified silicon) adhesive. This product offers a superior bond, works better in moist conditions, and is quick grabbing. In all situations where there is any doubt over fixing then a small area must be tested before proceeding with installation.

HB40 MS/HG 310ml tube – typically 2 tubes per 1m x 2.44m panels applied in grid system over the entire sheet.
