HRC4002 Cove is a solid European Oak board installed in a one strip pattern. The solid construction is the most traditional form of floor that will last for generations.
The surface is characterised by a hand-processing of the timber to create age, texture and character. Then HRC4002 is prefinished with a natural oil that penetrates deep into the grain for added protection but yet allows the surface to breathe.
Cove is designated as rustic grade, all the natural features of a tree will be present with all shapes and sizes of knots. Distinctive sapwood and heartwood add further layers of beauty and you should expect checks and possibly some end shake.
With no visible bevel, the edges will sit flush against each other creating a visually flat finished surface. The boards are plained all round and can be either fully bonded to the subfloor using as suitable adhesive or nailed down.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Havwoods Ltd is consulted before specifying.
