HRC1960 Thalia is a engineered European Oak board installed in a mosaic pattern. The engineered construction adds significant stability to the board allowing for natural wood expansion without compromising on the real wood aesthetic.
The surface is characterised by axe blades used to create a deep sculpted texture. Then HRC1960 is blank canvus, allowing you to be the artist and finish the product how you wish. An unfinished product can include different grade of character so all you have to do is re-sand the surface once installed, and create.
Thalia is designated as rustic grade, all the natural features of a tree will be present with all shapes and sizes of knots. Distinctive sapwood and heartwood add further layers of beauty and you should expect checks and possibly some end shake.
To maintain authenticity of the final surface, this product maintains a reclaimed edge which ensures individuality. The boards come with a interlocking system profile and can be either fully bonded to the subfloor using as suitable adhesive or nailed down.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Havwoods Ltd is consulted before specifying.
