Biofa Worktop Oil - Solvent Free - 2052

Biofa Work Top Oil is a special blend of natural oils and resins ideally suited for the maintenance of oiled wooden Tables and kitchen Worktops. It has good stain resistance. It penetrates deep into the wood, is moisture vapour permeable, anti-static, resistant to fluids, and revives and brings out the natural structure and hues of the treated woods. Regular oil application helps to maintain the treated surface on an ongoing basis. The dried surfaces meet Directive (EC) No. 1935/2004 for items with food contact, the EN standard 71, part 3 (children's toy safety) and DIN 53160 (perspiration and saliva colour fastness) and successfully passed dermatology testing with a 'very good' rating.

KEY CHARACTERISTICS:
Max VOC content: Less than 1g/l.
Coverage: 1st coat - 25-35 ml/m² or 30-40 m²/l. 2nd and 3rd coat - 5-10 ml/m² or 100-200 m²/l.
Container size: 150 millilitres (Glass bottle) / 750 millilitres / 2.5 litres (metal containers).
Colour(s): Clear.
Ingredients: Linseed oil, wood oil - linseed oil blend, ricin oil – colophony resin blend, micro-wax, zinc oxide, swelling clay, antioxidant, calcium and manganese drying agent.
Application: Apply with brush, sponge or sprayer. After 20-30 minutes of penetration time, spread remaining oil to still absorbing areas or remove as needed. Then pad to a dry finish.
Drying time: Dry and ready for processing after 16-24 hrs. Fully cured after approx. 7-10 days.
