Biofa manufactures Paints, wood treatments and other decorative oils from natural ingredients. The key focus is on products which are better for human health and better for the environment. Created through 30 years of research and development, there is no more comprehensive range of environmentally friendly coatings available to buy today.
Biofa Hard Wax Oil is a premium blend from natural oils and resins. It rejuvenates the natural structure of the substrates and results in a film-forming, open-pore, durable, dirt and water-repellent finish. It is suitable for all types of interior wood including parquet and cork floors, engineered wood panels such as Sterling OSB panels and for furniture and interior built-ins. Its natural composition of natural oils, waxes and tree resin is completely free of linseed oil and therefore gently brings out the natural grain and colour of wood. The product is easy to apply by roller or brush and has a Satin finish when dry. The thin oil film that forms after the second application protects the surface from humidity and staining. Biofa Hard Wax Oil is used as a primer and as a finish coat. It is not suited for continuous moisture exposure. It is the ideal finishing step for Biofa colour oils. Biofa Hard Wax Oil meets EN 71, part 3 (safety of children's toys) and DIN 53160 (perspiration and saliva colour fastness).
