Developed to protect vertical applications, the ViiFire i-Zone can be installed into any standard building, including a domestic house, to protect lifts, kitchens, serving hatches and counters, windows and doors, openings in walls, stairs and lobbies, boundary protection and cross corridor separation.
ViiFire i-Zone can also be used to protect windows and form a protective means of escapes. Available in standard sizes up to 3m x 3m, ViiFire i-Zone can also be purchased as a supply only product and can be fixed to all types of ceiling configurations and is easily integrated with both solid and suspended ceilings.
ViiFire i-Zone is compliant to EN, AS and in accordance PAS 121* and BS EN* to provide 30 minute Insulating Zone, Integrity and Radiation.
The iZone2 product incorporates our intumescent fabric used in the FireMaster Plus2 product. The intumescent fabric expands when exposed to temperatures in excess of 160 C, forms a carbonaceous char of organic matter and consequently provides a thermal insulating barrier.
The thermal insulating barrier creates a tenable zone allowing occupants of a building to safely pass the curtain to safety with a fire burning the other side of the fire curtain.
The Vii Fire iZone2 is a neat compact fully automatic motorised roller system with a state of the art high temperature stainless steel reinforced curtain, tested up to 1000 C, concealed in a strong steel casing above your doorway or opening.
It remains hidden but ready to work when you need it - in the event of fire. It is easy for a competent person to install and is the first and only plug and play system. To be regulation compliant and to be fully Fit For Purpose they must be protected by total power failure Gravity Fail-Safe.
The Vii Fire iZone2 product is designed as a barrier to prevent the spread of fire in accordance with BS EN 1634-1:2008 and has an Insulating Zone performance in accordance with BS PAS121:2007 and BS 8524-1:2013 for such applications as protecting Means of Escape and achieves E180 EW60 (180 mins integrity and 60mins radiation).
