FireMaster

Developed to work with all building types, including domestic houses, the FireMaster active fire curtain barrier is supplied with the Coopers Total Gravity Fail Safe (TGFS) system and features variable speed, controlled descent, limits radiation, smoke leakage, emergency egress and side channels.

Available in unlimited widths and drops up to 8 meters and with fixing options to suit all types of ceiling configurations, the FireMaster active fire curtain barrier can be integrated with both solid and suspended ceilings and will remain hidden within the ceiling until deployed.

The FireMaster active fire curtain barrier is a vertical fire curtain barrier compliant to BS, EN, AS and GB and in accordance with PAS 121 and BS EN standards* and providing 120 minutes integrity.

The FireMaster fire curtain is one of the most popular products produced by Coopers Fire and is used in a variety of applications. The standard fabric used offers 240 minutes integrity under BS476-22.8:1987 and the A1 rated fabric can
be offered which has an integrity rating of 180 minutes for a single curtain system and 120 minutes for an overlapping curtain system under BS 8524-1:2013.

The FireMaster fire curtain is compliant to BS 8524 Part 1 and Part 2 for both a single width and overlapping widths. Our BS 8524 compliant products use the ground breaking A1 fire fabric Coopers have engineered and they also feature other innovative solutions to ensure compliance with this rigorous British Standard for fire curtains.

Coopers have also engineered a silicone based black-out fabric called the FireMaster BOS. This offers 120 minutes integrity.

Active Fire Curtain Barrier Assemblies comprise technologically advanced fire-resistant fabric barriers encased in a compact steel housing. Barriers remain invisibly retracted until activated by an alarm or detector signal, at which time they descend safely to their fire operational position.

To be compliant, Fire Barriers must be protected from a short circuit and or total power failure, this is achieved with our patented Total Gravity Fail-Safe (TGFS) system.

Fire barriers will stop and control the spread of fire in a building.If means of escape protection is required use FireMaster Plus2.
