FireMaster Plus NVS Duplex Horizontal

The high performance of the FireMaster Plus means that it s approved to protect windows and floors to form a protective means of escapes. The FireMaster Plus NVS Duplex horizontal fire curtain can be manufactured in a number of standard sizes up to a maximum of 7 meters wide x 11 meters long.

Tensioned between rollers mounted at either end of the void opening, the horizontally closing fire curtain has been developed to remain hidden within the ceiling with No Visual Supports (NVS) until activated by a fire alarm.

The FireMaster Plus NVS Duplex horizontal fire curtain is a horizontal fire curtain barrier compliant to EN, AS in accordance with PAS 121* and BS* and BS EN* to protect from fire for 120 minutes.

The FireMaster Plus Horizontal offers the same benefits as the FireMaster Horizontal range except it uses the FireMaster Plus2 intumescent fabric. This means the FireMaster Plus Horizontal can offer an insulating zone and protect from heat radiation.

FireMaster Plus NVS Horizontal is an Active Fire Curtain Barrier Assembly comprising of technologically advanced fire-resistant fabric barriers encased in a compact steel housing. Barriers remain invisibly retracted until activated by an alarm or detector signal, at which time they close safely to their fire operational
position. Fire barriers will stop and control the spread of fire in a building.

To be compliant, Fire Barriers must have a dual power supply fitted as standard. To protect from a short circuit and / or total power failure.

The rollers are mounted and are driven by tubular motors. The rollers are enclosed in a steel housing and the leading edge of the curtain fabric has a supporting bar spanning between the side channels that retain the barrier.

FireMaster Plus NVS Horizontal is designed to prevent the spread of fire in accordance with BS PAS 121:2007.

ATRIA: Where there are more than 2 interconnected floors or the floor area exceeds 2,000m2.

CEILINGS: Protect holes in ceilings or ceiling features such as heritage glass.
