Maccaferri’s biaxial geogrids are engineered polymeric reinforcement elements with symmetric, multidirectional tensile strength designed to improve the bearing capacity and confinement of subsoil under load. Their geometry and mechanical properties make them ideal for soil stabilization, pavement support, slope reinforcement, and other ground improvement applications.
These geogrids are most commonly used in dual-axis (biaxial) form, but variants with three or more axis reinforcement are also available depending on project demands.
The polymer type (e.g. extruded PP, coated PET, etc.) and aperture geometry are tailored to match fill characteristics and structural requirements.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Maccaferri is consulted before specifying.
