Micro Spring Washer Square DIN 7980

The Micro Spring Washer with square section, made to DIN 7980 standard, are used to prevent a fastener from becoming loose due to vibration.
They can often be referred to as Spring Lock or Split Washers. This is due to the washer being split at one point and bent into a helical shape, causing it to exert a spring force between the fastener head and substrate.
Micro Spring Washer with square section (DIN 7980) are one of the most common types, typically used with fasteners that host a cylindrical head.
Other alternatives to Spring Lock Washers include Nyloc Nuts or Nordlock Washers, however this will depend on the intended application.
Available from Fastenright in Stainless Steel (A2 & A4) and Steel (HV 430 530) Zinc Plated as standard.
Diameters from M2 to M3 as standard, with larger sizes also available.
