High Corrosion Resistant Type A Washers

High Corrosion Resistant Type A Washers are available at broad tolerances for applications where precision is not critical and they hold a high degree of dimensional stability, good wear resistance and high fatigue life.
A5 Steel Type A Washers are resistant to corrosion due to the stabilisation provided by the Steel being alloyed with Titanium. They are used in constructions with moderately levelled chlorides or Sulfur dioxide.
Duplex Stainless Steel Type A Washers are stronger than A2 and A4 Stainless Steel washers which is one reason as to why this material is used so heavily. They host improved corrosion resistance allowing use across applications that pitting, erosion and general corrosion are all found meaning these washers could be found within seawater equipment and chemical processing.
1.4529 HCR Steel (Grade A8) Type A Washers are characterised by better resistance to stress corrosion cracking, excellent corrosion resistance and their ability to work within concentration plants, offshore technology and pipeline systems.
These washers do not feature a chamfer and are available in sizes M5 to M36 as standard.
They are available from Fastenright in Duplex Stainless Steel, A5 Steel and 1.4529 HCR Grade A8 Steel.
Non-standard sizes and materials are available to order as specials, including custom parts made to drawings.
Super Duplex Stainless Steel Type A Washers are also available to order as specials, for applications requiring higher strength or higher corrosion resistance.
