The Sedum GrufeKit consists of:

• Your quantity (ordered in m2) of sedum GrufeTiles
• Protection fleece
• Your chosen accessories (GrufeGuard, Scottish Pebbles)

The Sedum GrufeTile is pre-grown with 8-12 varieties of low maintenance sedums. This is a popular evergreen option.
Your GrufeTile will be supplied with established plant coverage, growing on 60mm 100% recycled growing media. The GrufeTile has a saturated weight of 65kg per m2.The tiles can be cut with a handsaw to fit the roof.

The soil used is a special substrate prepared specifically for the GrufeTile, but particular mixes can also be prepared depending on the planting & project requirement.

Made from recycled Polypropylene (PP), the carrier performs the following roles – a water reservoir, drainage layer, protection from excessive drying of roots from the airspace below, the cups greatly improve product handing making it easier to install.

Installation:

Being a modular system makes this a simple self-install, where the protection fleece (included in GrufeKit) is laid down and the pre-grown modules are laid on-top and clipped together to create a green roof.

Optional Accessories:

GrufeGuard which protects the modules at the roof edge and is used where the upstand is less than 60mm provides a clean-cut finish to the green roof. White Scottish Pebbles add a quality feature and are a great solution for walkways or borders. Some local authorities will require a stone margin as standard installation.
