Pura AC9000 Series 36dB - Non Fire Rated Access Panel - Clean Room

The PROFAB Pura AC9000 Series 36dB hinged steel access panels provide access to mechanical and electrical services located behind sealed plasterboard or sandwich panel (demountable) wall and ceiling systems.

The Pura AC9000 is used in clean rooms, hospitals and food preparation areas, where hygiene and sound containment is a priority. Concealed hinges and a flush frame to the powder-coated metal door allows for ease of wipe down.

The panel offers a Standard Acoustic Shielding of 30dB with upgrades available up to 36dB for applications requiring enhanced acoustic performance.

COMPOSITION & MANUFACTURE

Acoustic performance is achieved by using an acoustic gasket and laminated acoustic steel door construction.

The welded metal frame holds a metal door tray, hinged via fully adjustable concealed hinges and held closed by a concealed budget lock (BL), push catch (PC) or security sealed key lock (SL). All lock types are fitted to the rear of the frame/door.

The door opens towards the user and is removable if damage occurs, or during installation.

Panels are manufactured with a beaded frame (BF) or picture frame (PF). The frame is 1.2mm thick factory welded electro-galvanised mild steel, the door is 0.9mm thick electro-galvanised mild steel.

The beaded frame (BF) panel is fully concealed after installation with only a 2mm wide door line visible.

The picture frame (PF) option is manufactured for retrofitting and a 25mm picture frame surround will be visible after installation.

The PF can be manufactured with a modified frame for installation into a 60mm sandwich panel demountable structure. The fully adjustable hinge and dome location system ensures the maintenance of a constant gap between door and frame.

Panels are powder coated semi-gloss white all over as standard but can be supplied using plastic coated or stainless steel. Anti-bacterial paint is available as an optional extra.
