Coving is supplied in 2.4 M lengths and priced by the meter. This is the style of plaster cornice that would have greeted you when you stepped into the entrance hall of a Victorian house, designed to look impressive. It s heavily decorated with modillion blocks and acanthus leaves. We stock three sizes of this style of cornic - this being the second largest with a drop of 120mm. We have a larger and even more ornate design LPC019 which has a drop of 170mm. For these larger sizes of ornate cornice we would always recommend using a professional coving fitter as it is difficult to cut and fill the joints especially the corners, which should be filled with casting plaster for the best results, for a 10KG bag of casting plaster. Please see our code CP010, we can recommend coving fitters in most areas.
We recommend you order 20% extra for patterned cornice to take into account matching because the fewer cuts needed the neater the finish and the better your room will look when finished.
