MPC062 comes in 2.4 metre lengths. This elegant plaster coving has a central frieze featuring a delicately cast Adams-style Swag and Drop design. The Adams brothers Robert, John and James were highly influential Georgian architects and designers who rose to prominence in the 1760's - they created elaborate plasterwork as part of their interior design schemes. The Adams brothers style took designs from antiquity, especially following their visits to the then, newly discovered ruins of Pompeii. The Adams brothers style enjoyed revivals in both Victorian and Edwardian England. Truly stylish, this Adams cornice is not out of place in properties from the Georgian period onwards, in this small size with a 85mm drop this plaster cornice is ideal from more modern properties with lower ceilings.
