This range of access panels is suitable for use in both Walls and ceilings. The access panel has a 50mm deep frame and is one hour fire-rated tested to standard BS EN 1634-1: 2008 and BS EN 1363-1: 1999; it has a metal faced door and is supplied with either a picture frame surround or a beaded frame for tape and joint. These access panels are supplied with a simple hinge system for ease and speed of assembly on site with pin location on one side and 1 screw fitting on the other. The panel is fitted with a budget lock as standard but other locking options are available. The Blazedor is supplied as standard with a budget lock and is also available with a 5mm bit (tamperproof) insert, Standard key lock, castellated tamperproof key lock and an IP65 airtight anti tamperproof insert.

The size of the structural opening needs to be 7mm larger than the inside of the frame, ie structural opening for a 0600x0600 would need to be 0607x0607.
