Fire Rated Loft Hatch with Picture Frame

Loft panels are designed to fit into any type of 1 hour fire rated ceiling system in order to gain access to domestic loft areas. The rear of the metal door tray is filled with mineral fibre insulation with a k value of 0.037 W/mK. The door has a concealed continuous hinge, and is secured using a three-way locking system.
A 25mm wide picture frame surround is provided for retrofit. This enables the panel to be inserted directly into the clear structural opening and screw-fixed into position through the side of the panel frame.
