European Steamed Beech

European Steamed Beech is pale cream in colour, sometimes with a pinkish hue. The wood has a straight grain with a fine texture. The steaming process makes this wood easy to machine and responds excellently to steam bending, making it suitable for complex cabinet work and stylish curved kitchens.
With its low price and hardness and wear resistance, this wood is suitable for many home projects. Long lumber is available.
This wood stains and Polishes well. Weight is 45 lbs/ft3 (720 kg/m3). We have stock sizes 5mm to 80mm thick, 100mm+ wider, 2.150m+ longer, with a square edge.
