American Hard Maple Sawn Timber

American Hard Maple is a very pale wood with a reddish or golden hue which is grown in the USA and Canada. The grain is usually straight to slightly wavy.
This wood is ideal for a flooring project. It is slightly difficult to work with, and pre-boring is recommended.
The wood weighs 46 lbs/ft³ (735 kg/m³).
