European Lime Sawn Timber

European Lime is pale white to light cream, with a subtle grain pattern. The colour is uniform and the wood ages to a yellow or pale brown colour.
It has a fine texture although can fuzz if not cut with sharp tools. The wood works very well for hand carving, and glues and finishes well.
Weight is 33 lbs/ft³ (535 kg/m³) and stock sizes are 25mm to 120mm thick 150mm+ wider 2.150m+ longer.
The wood comes either square-edged or waney-edged.
