The cantilever design means that there is no ground track or exposed wheels to get blocked by dirt, leaves or snow meaning the gate is virtually maintenance free. The main gate beam is Aluminium, making it light in weight and resistant to corrosion. Fine counterbalancing allows the Delta gate to be operated manually with the absolute minimum of effort.
