This single leaf sliding gate boasts the latest technology and has been successfully tested for all relevant safety norms (EN and BS).
The gate frame is square hollow section steel with a choice of infill options including welded-mesh, palisade and vertical bars. Available in a wide range of widths and heights, the cantilever design has no exposed ground track or wheels to get blocked by dirt or snow. This guarantees trouble-free open/close movements and reduces maintenance. The main gate beam is lightweight aluminium, and the complete construction is perfectly counterbalanced to allow easy motor-driven operation.
All gate surfaces are extremely robust with high quality galvanised or powder coated finishes (in a wide choice of colours). Ideal for busy industrial and commercial locations.
Extensive testing of the Safeglide 2 has ensured optimum safety as well as long-lasting reliability for all customers, the Safeglide 2 will operate without failure for between 10 and 12 years under the most stressful conditions, equating up to 156,000 cycles in its lifetime.
