SlideGuard RCS - Impact Tested Tracked Cantilever

SlideGuard RCS is an impact tested, automatic cantilever gate accredited by PAS68 to stop a 7.5 tonne vehicle. With two versions tested to mitigate the threat of vehicles travelling at 40mph and 50mph.

The gate and locking pin can either be powered electronically or by a hydraulic motor depending on the site requirements. Both maintain a smooth and quiet motion in both directions. Tested at an 8 metre clear opening, and at 50mph achieved 1.6metres of dynamic penetration. As a safety precaution, a light curtain, CAT 3 safety edges and an emergency stop button are fitted as standard. Together, these safety devices reduce the risk of entrapments, crushing and shearing, ensuring compliance with British Standards and EN 12453:200. In the event of a power cut or fault, the gate can be manually operated. The gate has a powerful PLC with built in diagnostics and programmable inputs and outputs that can provide numerous options depending on client requirements.
