This table was designed after witnessing the remains of earthquake damage in the Ionian Islands. The top is rent asunder to provide a display space, in this case filled with spent sea urchins from the seas that surround the islands. The glass that covers this space is set at the same height as the peaks of the v-grooves, thus providing a stable surface upon which to display or place.
The peaks of the textured surface are set at the same height as the glass and hence anything with a base wider than 14mm (1/2 ) will stand upon the surface. The Toughened Glass centre panel can be lifted off and some favoured items displayed within the 1300 x 140 x 56mm space.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Burt, Matthew is consulted before specifying.
