Compass Table

This is our flagship circular table. There are three variations of compass table and many more words about these can be found on the website. With this version we set about showing a journey through a tree . The top is veneered with 3mm thick, workshop-sawn veneers in sixteen consecutive cuts through a tree. These are laid out in a radiating pattern demonstrating the Timber s beauty whilst at the same time showing the way in which it grows. The horizontal brickwork base is a configuration of diminishing octagons spun with an angled cut into a cone and plays delightful tricks with light.
