Sectional Doors

Rollashield SD doors offer superior resistance to all weather conditions, a high level of security and excellent insulation. These qualities combined with a simple and efficient operation makes them a popular choice for heated or cooled buildings. Armashield’s range of Sectional Overhead Doors are suitable for many applications and building designs; for instance, the back tracks can follow the roof Pitch, rise vertically above the door or smaller doors can be supplied in low headroom form requiring only 250 mm of headroom for particularly tight situations. Doors can be manually or electrically operated with a range of control options and are supplied in standard anodised, polyester paint or Plastisol finish to a wide range of colours.

Sectional overhead doors have the additional advantage of having no areas of cold bridging which will satisfy Building Regulations for new buildings. The panels typically achieve a U-value of 0.45 W/m²K, meaning a 5 m² door will achieve 0.6 W/m²K. The doors are also available with Vision Panels, can be fitted with integral personnel doors or even perforated Aluminium panels for car parks requiring ventilation and through vision. The panoramic glazed door is a firm favourite for vehicle workshops as it allows ample daylight into the working area.

Rather than rolling or sliding like conventional doors, the SD Compact stacks at the top of the opening. This gives a huge benefit in terms of headroom requirements over a sectional door and still provides excellent levels of insulation and security due to an automatic anti-lift locking system. The SD Compact is a quiet and low-maintenance door and also requires minimal steelwork support. The doors are also available with a wide range of operation and safety methods and can even be supplied with high-speed motors.

The SD Compact Door also provides a very aesthetically-pleasing finish with the choice of the panels as composite Insulated Sandwich Panels with a choice of colours and vision panels. The panels can also be provided with slimline aluminium frames with standard glazing or bespoke glazing to match the building, providing a very attractive finish for projects such as vehicle garages.
