TDA - Extract Unit with Presence Detection

Detecting presence in an office environment.

TDA extract units directly adjust the extracted airflow to the level of human presence detected in the room. A simple initial adjustment of the base-flow in line with the normal occupancy level is sufficient to ensure a high standard of air quality. Should the usual occupancy level change, the base-flow can be adjusted at any time, thus ensuring that the correct airflow is provided when human presence is detected (1 to 4 persons per terminal).

When the room is unoccupied, the airflow is automatically reduced, allowing on average, savings of 50% on thermal losses due to ventilation. The TDA fan is particularly well suited for installation in offices or small meeting rooms. A relay version also enables the lights to be switched on and off via an infra-red sensor.

Presence detection: starts the basic airflow as soon as a presence is detected.

Relay version : version with output controlling a relay for switching on the light, alarm, etc. when presence is detected.
