Description
Watco Etch & Clean is the ideal way to prepare concrete and brickwork surfaces for painting. It will remove surface laitance and will also neutralise excess alkalinity in new concrete (concrete must be at least 4 weeks old before use).
Features
- Ensures excellent bonding of coatings and reduces alkalinity of new concrete
- Contains detergent for cleaning action
- Removes laitance (a weak dusty layer) on new concrete and will provide a key for surface coatings on very smooth concrete
- Gel formula to provide more even etching over surface
- Colour change system to indicate neutralisation
