The main types are the box bay which uses a 90-degree angle to form a protruding box shape and the bow bay which is a softer variation of the normally angular bay window. An oriel bay is usually used to describe a bay window projecting from the first floor of a building.
Bay windows were popular additions to English country homes as they made a person feel outdoors while in the comfort of the home.
Thermoshield replaces existing bay windows using supporting “bay poles” where necessary. We can also transform the looks of a normal flush window with the addition of a “plant on” bay.
