Description
A stormproof casement window.
Material
Constructed using only FSC® selected Scandinavian
Redwood, with full chain of custody.
Preservation
All Timber components are double vacuum impregnated
with a preservative, to protect against insect attack and fungal decay.
Performance
BSI Kitemarked to BS 644.
Mechanism
Sashes are hung on butt hinges as standard, alternatively reflex hinges may be specified to enable cleaning from within the building.
Weatherseal
The window is fully weathersealed satisfying the requirements of BS 6375 Part1 “Air, Wind and Water Permeation”.
Glazing
The window can be factory glazed with 24mm dual seal Kitemarked double glazed units.
Beads
All windows include a projecting bottom bead encompassing the benefits of a fully drained and ventilated glazing system. Aluminium bottom beads may be specified
Cills
Cills may be specified as flush or having either 25mm, 62mm, 89mm, or 114mm projections.
Fittings
Push button handles are fitted to all windows and are available in the following colours: Brass, Chrome, Silver, White, Gold, Black and Brown. Espagnolette or multi-point locking shoot bolts may be specified,
Ventilation
Controllable ventilators can be fitted to the head. One vent is fitted to windows over 484mm wide and two vents to windows over 911mm wide.
Factory Finishing
This is a highly recommended option. To ensure the Smooth operation and optimum performance of the window, Paints are spray applied, achieving a quality of finish unobtainable with traditional methods.
