Limelite Easy Bond Plaster Primer is a pre-blended, salt-resistant primer designed for use with the Limelite Plaster range to aid adhesion and control suction. The use of Limelite Easy Bond will provide a key to Smooth substrates and provide resistance to sulphate attack. When applied as part of the Limelite Renovating Plaster System, Limelite Easy Bond is ideal for use in heritage restoration, renovation projects and damp environments.
Effective bonding
Enables plastering onto smooth substrates where there is little key allowing effective adhesion of plaster coats.
Suction control and crack prevention
Helps to prevent shrinkage and cracking by controlling suction on dry, porous substrates such as sandstone or old brickwork.
Reduces efflorescence and staining
Contains a salt inhibitor to prevent surface efflorescence. Minimises the risk of sulphate attack and staining on plasters from contaminated substrates.
Breathable Primer
Limelite Easy Bond is breathable and wont seal moisture into the substrate like an impermeable SBR or latex base primer. It also wont re-emulsify when damp like PVA based primer.
Easy to use
Limelite Easy-Bond is easy to use, only requiring the addition of water and is applied with a brush.
