Steel Door - Thermal Panic Exit

Steeldor Thermal has an exceptionally low U-Value of 1.5 W/m²K and has been added to the Strongdor range to address the growing demand for thermally proficient insulation. Comprising of 1.2 mm ‘Rustec’ steel sheets, the leaf skins are mechanically interlocked and internally bonded, proving greater stability and protection against de-lamination.

Steel Doors with Panic Hardware

Featuring panic hardware, an escape door can be situated as an emergency exit door in many locations. A common use for these doors is within schools, providing thermal properties and emergency escape should it ever be needed.

Thermal Fire Escape Doors

Upgrading a steel door with thermal properties can decrease the U-value to 1.6 W/m²K on a single door and 1.5 W/m²K on double doors. This decrease allows for enhanced protection against heat escaping the building and improves the efficiency of the building.
