Moving forward with the times, SDS now brings to the UK market an exciting new selection of PVC-free products for use where tough, sterile and ecologically sound door Protection Systems are required.

SDS dFendors can now be encapsulated in the new SDS dFend durablend sheeting, which offers the customer all the attributes of more traditional PVC-based thermoplastics but married up to some inimitable advantages: PVC-free, environmentally sound, inherent antimicrobial impregnation, fire rated, and supported with certifications to the most exacting European standards.

dFend durablend is created from non-toxic compounds and throughout its lifecycle remains UV stable, is less prone to thermal movement than traditional plastics and is fully recyclable. Furthermore, in the event of forced combustion, dFend durablend does not emit the life-threatening toxic fumes such as are produced by the burning of PVC-based equivalents.

Choosing from the SDS dFend durablend range entails no compromise: there is an attractive palette of colours and the sheet facings include both the conventional lightly textured finish, besides a selection of traditional Timber styles. Also, if given sufficient quantity and a reasonable lead-in time, SDS can provide a matching service to any Pantone or RAL colour to integrate dFend durablend neatly into corporate projects.
