Security Doors Blast Doors

CONFIGURATION - Blast doorsets have been successfully tested in both inward and outward configuration, and can be installed as either a Single or double leaf set.



FINISHES - Doors can be faced and finished to match existing or other new Timber doors on a project, and with applied mouldings and facings they can also be made to replicate traditional Panelled Doors.  Hardwood frames can be fully painted, or lacquered to match the door finish.  For higher levels of Blast protection Steel encapsulation may be necessary, with a full paint finish.



PERFORMANCE  - Doorsets have been successfully tested to achieve C25 and C15 ratings to the ‘Protected Spaces’ standard.  The unique and varied nature of Blast Dynamics make it impractical to test doors for all the diverse situations anticipated by our clients.  For instance, different explosive materials will produce varying overpressure figures, so existing test evidence is analysed by specialist consultants engineers to calculate enhancements necessary to meet specific anticipated threats.



Vision Panels - 370x170mm, DDA compliant glazed vision panels can be incorporated into our full range of Blast doors.  Beads are either painted or hardwood cloaked to match the door face.



LOCKING - Depending on the level of protection required, locks can be mortice- fitted or surface- mounted, and may be single or multi- point.  Locking can accommodate almost any operational requirement, from a simple key entry and thumbturn exit, to access controlled, automated bolting, with powered opening and closing.
